We are very proud of all our Japan XR Hackathon winners and participants. This was a great event bringing people from all over the world together in Japan to develop new applications that will aid the cause of humanitarian action across in conflict zones around the globe. The ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross) partnered with Noitom and other sponsors of the hackathon including SVVR and Panora VR, to generously endow this year's hackathon winner with a $40,000 fund to complete their project and eventually have it used in the field by ICRC. The Grand Prize winning team was Happy Children which created an application that assists children with rehabilitation after serious injuries. The Second Prize winners, RealityBenders, were awarded with a $10,000 fund for developing an application that raises awareness of domestic abuse. Other winners were able to take home prizes that included Perception Neuron systems and passes to the Noitom VR Lab in Tokyo. Aside fromm the great cause and excellent prizes, attendees of the Japan XR Hackathon had the chance to be among the first to work with the Noitom Hi5 VR Glove.
