The world premiere of Sleeping Beauty Dreams, a contemporary art exploration in progressive fantasy-style of the classic tale retold by by Magic Reality Group, will debut this month in Miami and New York. The EDM-influenced performance explores Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty, and will showcase the first-ever fusion of live contemporary ballet dance with real-time avatars projected on-stage. Magic Reality Group used Perception Neuron motion capture to bring the avatars to life. The ballet's creative team also worked closely with Italian digital arts studio, Fuse Works, to learn Perception Neuron's, technology. In 2018, Fuse used Perception Neuron to take their mesmerizing digital perfomance piece, Dökk to the world stage.

A story never told before - Sleeping Beauty Dreams is an unprecedented fusion of contemporary dance with state-of-the-art, Real-Time Digital Avatar projection and electronic music for a multi-dimensional scenic experience. This emerging technology allows the constantly transforming avatars of Sleeping Beauty Dreams to seamlessly replicate the dancers' movements live, adding a whole new dimension to the world of live performance. The performance stars international prima ballerina, Diana Vishneva and includes work from digital artist, Tobias Gremmier and costume designer, Bart Hess. The show will debut at the Adrienne Arshst Center in Miami on December 7th and 8th and at the Beacon Theatre in New York City December 14th and 15th.
